Bacci, PharmD, MPH, BCACP, Associate Professor at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy about how pharmacist intervention can close statin gaps.  She’s one of the co-authors of the March 2023 JAMA article Community Pharmacist Intervention to Optimize Statin Adherence in Diabetes Care.

In this episode Bacci explains why statin initiation is an important clinical gap for patients with diabetes and that collaborative practice agreements can allow pharmacist involvement to help improve patient outcomes.
