Jeffrey Bratberg, PharmD, FAPhA, Clinical Professor at the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy talks about increasing quality outcomes through patient-first communication on the Quality Corner Show with Host Nick Dorich, PharmD, PQS Senior Manager of Pharmacy Accounts. 

In this episode, Bratberg explains the value of adopting patient or people-first language in patient counseling and harm reduction communications. He also provides some examples where using updated language and terminology by the pharmacist or practitioner might encourage positive interactions.
